AKIRA, one of my favorite boutique chains in the windy city, is a staple on the Chicago fashion scene. The owner Jon Cotay and I have built a great relationship over the years. I am always impressed by how he continues to stay on the pulse of fashion and is committed to keeping high-fashion at the forefront in Chicago.

So, of course, every year I support Jon at AKIRA’S Annual show at Galleria Marchetti. This year’s show, the 6th Annual for AKIRA, was in support of Imerman Angels, a foundation that connects people that are currently battling cancer with a cancer survivor. The show’s theme, the Tudor Rose, was inspired by the Shakesperean era and the garden at Galleria Marchetti was packed with some of Chicago’s most fashionable citizens. Everyone looked FIERCE and the Diva Squad (Baby, Down To Earth, Sugar and Hollywood) were there to cover the event!
