Itika Interviews Al Sharpton
One of my first interviews as a burgeoning journalist was with Al Sharpton during his Presidential Campaign in 2004, and it was so great to see him again many years later at the Men of Style Awards here in Chicago. I must add that the good Reverend looked awesome and is definitely a Man of Style!
After seeing his commentary in Chris Rocks’ film Good Hair I just couldn’t resist taking this opportunity to have a little hair talk with Rev. Al (He has a great head of hair might I add). After running my fingers through his tendrils (LOL!) we chatted it up and I can honestly say that Al is as down to earth as it gets!
